novella is an erotic romance and delivers on both counts - it is quite romantic
and is full of some hot bed play." Marina, Cupid's Library Reviews for Revealing
Photos " UNDER HER SKIN is so much more than a wonderful romance, it’s
a lesson in love and acceptance. It is an experience not to be missed."

I'm doing research for a work in progress, and I discovered that black bears are once more moving into Missouri. Because I'm fascinated by all things bears, I thought this was a super way of nature regaining what mankind took away. So, I thought, I bet I could come up with thirteen animals that are or might be on my land in Missouri. Here we go!
The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! If you participate, leave the link to your Thirteen in others comments. It’s easy, and fun! Be sure to update your Thirteen with links that are left for you, as well! I will link to everyone who participates and leaves a link to their 13 things. Trackbacks, pings, comment links accepted! View More Thursday Thirteen Participants I've been a bad blogging author and I apologize for the long time between posts. Please don't spank me too hard, okay? *wink* Anyway, I'm back. It's Wednesday and this means it's "Writing Wednesday". I work from home, and once a month my boss makes me come into the office. Probably to make sure I'm still breathing and that I didn't just put the headphones on my cats to let them take the calls while I pound out wonderful stories for you, my dear readers. *wink* Anyway, so I actually saw people yesterday. In addition to the comments about my continued weight loss there were also comments about my writing. And one of my coworkers offered up this gem: "How about a story about someone who wins a dream date with one of his stars and when the star goes on the dream date its another man? So it's like...two guys." I grinned. "I can write that," I said. "Really?" "Yeah. I've written male/male stuff before. It's fun," says I with a big grin on my face. The problem with being an author is that the plot bunnies are everywhere. Ideas abound. As much as I adore my coworkers telling me they want to be in a book (which reminds me, someone gets to be an alien named Sam Adams and don't ask....), I have so many ideas now that I'll never get them all written. One of the most common things people say to writers is "have you thought about writing about X?" or "wouldn't a book about Y be interesting?" Yeah, it might be. But I also might not be the writer for that kind of story. I mean, I love my friend's plot idea, and as a M/M story line it has possibilities. Does it grab me? No, not really. I have story ideas I'm passionate about, and they're all on my big "to do" list in my den. I'm sure that idea will work, in the right hands.. and so I say, "how about a book about this...?" and throw the idea to the winds. I'm sure eventually it will find a home, like a good plot bunny should. Illegal Holdings by Mary Winter a futuristic BDSM novella from Changeling Press $3.49 BUY NOW: http://www.changelingpress.com/product.php?&upt=book&ubid=639 Concordance Inspection Agent Marik Sinstark knows he’s on the fast track to a big promotion -- he’s just secured contraband cargo, including sex toys and two boxes of black market pleasure cuffs. He’s always been curious about the cuffs’ legendary qualities, and testing them with the hot attaché to the Ambassador of Kreshna Colony, Elaura Janis, would bring them both a night of pleasure, but using the cuffs constitutes an illegal activity, and Marik can’t afford to get caught. But then again, neither can Elaura. Yet Elaura’s involvement runs deeper than Marik knows, and in a secluded suite, Elaura explores her submissive desires. The truth can’t come out… if it does, she’ll lose her chance to have Marik for a lifetime. Check out an excerpt at my website: www.marywinter.com

Come take a listen to Of Muse and Men with erotic romance novelist Mary Winter. And, in honor of the release of my June story, Illegal Holdings, from Changeling Press, I'm hosting a new contest. Tell me how you've "gotten caught" being naughty. All the details are on my website! Play safe! Around my house we don't use the word "patience." It's called the "p" word. And I guarantee you, when I have a new release coming out, it's difficult to exercise patience. The "coming soon" page gets checked until -- tada! -- my book is there. Like a little kid knowing Christmas is coming, I wait and I hope and I wait... and then... it's release day. I haven't had one of those yet this year, so that makes June 15 especially special for me. :) You see, that's the day when my BDSM futuristic novella, Illegal Holdings will be released by Changeling Press. My last release was Polar Heat in December. So, I am oh-so-pleased- to announce that you can find my book here: http://www.changelingpress.com/product.php?&upt=book&ubid=639 Yes, I am on the coming soon page! Anticipation.... now, all I have to do is wait for June 15. Uh oh! Guess it's time for the "p" word. |
