*pout* So, National Novel Writing Month is a time when crazy people around the world decide to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. Today, after writing, I've passed the 52,000 word mark. So, like a little dutiful NaNoWriMoer, I go to their website to upload the file. And they won't validate winners for another freaking week. Bastards. (I'm smiling as I say that) Okay, so my goal is 60,000 words and I should be done by Thanksgiving or the Friday after it at the latest. But still, it's the principle of the thing. I'm done. I won. I want my banner and my smiley and my confetti. Alas....not for another week. Pout.
