Sunday, October 22, 2006 Another successful backup

So I'm sitting here watching the Heroes marathon. I'm glad I finally had a chance to catch this show.

And I've been remiss in blogging. My bad. Forgive me?

Got my absentee ballot set on my desk so I can vote, and...I've backed up my laptop. I don't do it as often as I should. I work in IT. I receive calls from people whose computer's have given them the dreaded BSOD (blue screen of death) or won't load windows or a hundred other afflictions that might cause the computer to die, and when I ask "when was your last backup?" the deafening silence on the other line tells the story. I know, if (heaven forbid) it would happen, I'd have the same deafening silence.

So, while I'm watching tv, I backed up my hard drive. Whew! Crisis averted for this week, and I didn't need superpowers to do it. :)

Kind of gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. :) Just a gentle reminder from your neighborhood writer that if you have files you are worried about on your computer, please backup your files.

Hopefully, you'll never need it. It's like car insurance that way.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!!!!
