Thursday, August 17, 2006 So many many love scens can a writer write at one time?

When you're writing four-five projects at once.... well, I'm up to three. And boy, is it hard work!

So I finish up a novella I really like, and of course, it finishes up with a love scene. It's one where at the end I just sit there and smile my goofy smile, which is what I do when I read a good romance book, or a good book period, that leaves me all warm and fuzzy inside.

There's the story I'm writing at work -- between phone calls and other duties -- that happens to be on a love scene. Good thing I write on a PDA that the screen goes dim after 30 seconds (and it's password protected). Yeah, don't need anyone walking by and reading over my shoulder.

And then there's the other novella I'm close to finishing, and hope to start my day's writing on in a moment. Yep, you guessed it. They're in the middle of a love scene too.

So I'm an erotic romance writer. Maybe I never did get over my boy crazy phase, but you know what, it's because those boys grew into men, and I know all about them. *evil wink.* Oh, all about them and what their lucious, gorgeous, hard, muscled... oh yeah, I forget myself... bodies can do. *big grin*

But three love scenes at once? That's a little ambitious -- even for me.

It might be hard work, but can you think of anything more fun than this? I can't.

Okay, so I can... but .... well.... nah, I'll leave it up to your imagination.
