Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. May you all have a relaxing, joyous day spent with friends, family, and loved ones. On Thanksgiving I like to reflect on what I've been grateful for over the past year. I am thankful for my own friends and family who give me inspiration and encouragement as needed, and whose never ending support lights my darkest days. I'm thankful my mother's health has held steady this year, and I'm thankful for the readers and fans who let me know my work has touched their lives. I'm thankful for my horse, Fortune, my pets including my parrots and my kitties, and I'm thankful that although my day job drives me nuts I do have a job in this economy. I'm thankful for my partner, Steve, who supports my dream and provides much inspiration and love. He is my other half, my soulmate, and I consider myself privledged to share my life with one such as him. I hear the music playing me off stage, so I'll go. But in this world of daily struggles it can be hard to keep sight of that for which we're thankful. Take a few moments today and tell a family member how much you love them, and let people know you care. Love truly does make the world go around.
